Who we are
PakLease operates a public property listing marketplace, free real estate tools, and an agency CRM platform at paklease.com and related subdomains. We are a technology company — we provide software services to real estate agencies and display those listings to property seekers. We are not a real estate broker, agent, or developer.
This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using PakLease you agree to this policy.
What information we collect
If you are a property seeker (buyer or tenant):
- Phone number — used for OTP login and account authentication only
- Name — if you provide it when sending an enquiry
- Enquiry details — the message and property you enquired about, shared with the relevant agency
- Saved properties and search preferences — stored to your account
- Device and usage data — pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, IP address
If you are an agency or agent:
- Business name, owner name, phone number, and email address
- Team member names and contact details
- Listing content — property details, photos, descriptions, and videos you upload
- CRM activity — leads, inspections, deals, and client records you create
- Billing and subscription records
- WhatsApp and communication activity within the CRM
Automatically collected from all users:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and version
- Pages viewed, time spent, and referral source
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see our cookie policy)
How we use your information
- To operate the marketplace — displaying listings, profiles, and search results
- To authenticate users and prevent unauthorised access or fraud
- To connect property seekers with agencies when you submit an enquiry
- To send service communications — OTP codes, booking confirmations, subscription invoices
- To improve the platform — analysing usage patterns, fixing bugs, developing features
- To process payments and manage agency subscriptions
- To comply with legal obligations where required
We do not use your data to send unsolicited marketing messages. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
Who we share your data with
- Agencies: when you submit an enquiry on a property, your name and phone number are shared with the listing agency so they can respond to you.
- Payment providers: billing details are processed by our payment partners (e.g. JazzCash, bank transfer processors) under their own privacy policies.
- Cloud infrastructure providers: our servers, database, file storage (e.g. Amazon S3), and email delivery providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- WhatsApp / Meta: if you use the CRM WhatsApp integration, messages are processed via Meta's Business API under Meta's terms.
- Legal authorities: we may disclose data if required by Pakistani law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.
Enquiries — important notice
When you send an enquiry through PakLease, your contact details are passed directly to the agency that listed the property. PakLease is not responsible for how that agency contacts you, stores your data, or uses your information after we share it. We recommend only enquiring on properties you are genuinely interested in and only providing contact details you are comfortable sharing with the agency.
Data retention
- Buyer accounts and enquiry history are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion.
- Agency CRM data is retained for the duration of the subscription and for up to 90 days after cancellation to allow data export.
- After 90 days post-cancellation, agency data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Billing records may be retained longer for legal and audit purposes.
- Usage and analytics data may be retained in anonymised form indefinitely.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and separate environments for buyer and agency data. However, no system is completely secure. You use PakLease at your own risk and should use a strong, unique password for your account.

Cookies

Children
PakLease is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Third-party links
PakLease may contain links to external websites, including society websites, bank mortgage pages, and agency profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of PakLease after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
